| The following organizations will help you put a smile on the face of seriously ill children. www.hugsandhope.org The Hugs & Hope Club for Sick Kids was created by Marsha Jordan in October 2000, as a ministry of encouragement for children battling critical illness. Every month we feature new stories and photos of sick children on our website. Our visitors and volunteers pray for, encourage, and send these children cheery postal mail (a.k.a."happy mail"). Our volunteers also sponsor many special projects to brighten the lives of the children on a regular basis! Make A Child Smile www.makeachildsmile.org Their mission is to provide emotional and financial support to families whose children suffer from chronic or life-threatening illnesses and also give those who visit the MACS site the opportunity to participate by sending mail to the children. |
| Angels for Hope www.angelsforhope.org Angels for Hope is an organization that offers free crocheted angels for anyone in need of hope. We attach a small card with the angel to say to an injured or ill person, you are not alone, others do care, and you are in our thoughts and prayers. At your request we can add your name to the card. In addition to crocheted angels, we also offer butterflies and smiley faces. |
